Brave New World has a lot of controversies like drug used, man-made humans and casual sex that state throughout the story. They predicted that these are the ways we would be living in the future. All of these factors are connected to ethics and depending on the person, can be ethically wrong or right. In the end, it should be one's own decision.
In Brave New World, sex was treated as an activity. "We had Elementary Sex for the first forty minutes," she answered. "But now it's switched over to Elementary Class Consciousness.” They want all kids to know that sex was a normal thing and everyone did it. In modern day life we see more and more “one night stands and friends with benefit” as a normal thing. Depending on the person it can be right or wrong. They also didn't believe in love. It was casual sex.
Babies were created by genetic engineering. They want to make the prefect baby. They also want to prevent disease. They also figure that people we have options to choice from.
Oscar Wilde's Argument Timed-Write

In 1891, Irish author Oscar Wilde (1854–1900) observed, Civil Disobedience. Wilde claims that disobedience is a valuable human trait and that it promotes social progress. He said in order to make change people will have to break the rules and then there could be change. He also prove his point by showing evidence. For example the American revolution.
REFLECTION
I enjoyed this quarter. I like the debates we had at the end of the quarter. I'm excited to take the AP test. It is the last quarter before I become a seniors! I like to be prepared and have all my college application ready for the first day when colleges open the application entries. It help me by doing time write this quarter. I achieve my goal which was to have better essay. My goal from now is to study for the SAT after we take the AP test.
